No one understood, she thought no one could.
Anger writhing inside- striving to get out, no place to hide.
Mad man comes for control, yelling and screaming,
She wants to fight him and get away.
Trying to trick her with his dirty disguise, “People deceive,
I tell it to you true.”
Yet there’s evil behind those ugly eyes.
Sharp words getting though she puts up her shield.
But within minutes the skin will be healed.
Placidly she sits, yet the hurt is still carried in the heart,
years of scars to be and that she has- that will just not part.
The Mad Man says he and she are not good for you,
Do this, go there, and wear that too.
Closer her friends get,
The farther she’ll push them away,
So they won’t be hurt any day.
They think mad man’s just weird, the girl independent,
It’s all wrong, they’ll never know, the act is all they see.
On it’ll go, all angles won’t relent.
Each person is very wrong,
Within the girl is a core that’s strong.
And one friend that’ll never let go.
The One that is with her back to back,
Who hears her, and doesn’t get social acts.
She helps the girl stand on two feet,
To prove Mad Man there will never be defeat.
No one had understood, she had thought no one could.

So why does the bird fly? Why does the girl cry?
Is it because of him? Or the no named persona in her life?
The one causing so much strife?
He hurts her and she backs away, she sits for another day.
Hurting, crying, shedding tears, no one sees.
Until the day when she and her feelings become united,
She lets go of those feelings.
Her hatred, her hope, her life’s story, to someone
To anything that will help, all she has to is believe.
